WINNER OF THE ASECAN ANDALUSIAN FILM 2018 AWARD FOR BEST MUSIC FOR “NO SÉ DECIR ADIÓS”!!!

SO HAPPY to share that yesterday I won the ASECAN Andalusian Film 2018 Award for Best Original Soundtrack for my work in the feature film No sé decir adiós!!!

I feel proud of getting this prize, and touched because this acknowledgment comes from my hometown, which makes it even more special. Moreover yesterday I also had the chance to spend a wonderful evening surrounded by talents from the Andalusian film industry.

I would like to share here what I said yesterday in my brief speech:
– I want to express my gratitude for this prize to ASECAN Andalucía and everyone who made it possible.
– I want to share it with the amazing team of our movie and thank them for their trust, but allow me to point out Lino Escalera (director), who spent many days with me in my studio until we got exactly the music that we wanted. There is little music in the movie, but I guarantee you that we worked a lot for it.
And I also would like to congratulate Damián París (productor) and Juan Diego (lead actor) for their awards too. So well deserved!!
– Finally I want to dedicate this award to my parents, to whom I owe so much and without their support this couldn´t have been possible. Thanks a million!!
